About Team Islam
Team Islam is a faith-inspired non-profit, non-political, non-factional humanitarian and development consortium mobilized and moderated by the Assembly of Social Mobilization and other likeminded entities that is embarked on a journey for universal peace and sustainability.
Team Islam gathers a broader spectrum of social segments like academics, professionals, intellectuals, civil society activists, entrepreneurs and Scholars to envisage a promulgated road map for Universal Justice and Dignity based on The Glorious Qur’an and the prophetic traditions. We work to improve the lives of those we serve by promoting Socio-Economic, Cultural and Spiritual development supporting communities to establish and sustain a secured and dignified social order. .
EXISTENCE
"We believe in Allah (swt) and in that which has been revealed to us and in that which was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants. We believe in that which was given to Moses, Jesus, and the Prophets by their Lord. We make no distinction between them and we have submitted ourselves to the will of our Creator Almighty ".
-Glorious Quran 3:84-The prelude and the existence of our mission is based on the verse of the Glorious Quran 3:84 where the proclamation unifies Allah (Swt)’s creation under one dignified guidance called ISLAM that means “submitting yourself to the will of God”
Hence the assertion is “Submitting ourselves to the will of our creator and sustainer and having faith on his revelations that provides the guidance to the mankind” We envisage a faith-based journey towards “Universal Justice and Dignity” where we strive hard to witness equality and security to all, with special attention to the most vulnerable people on the face of the earth. We reach out to the most isolated, marginalized, oppressed and victimized communities on the ground to interact and influence their lives towards lasting change and sustainability. We trust and promote the values of Peace and Universal Harmony as paramount for achieving equality and security, Justice and Dignity for all. Our mission for universal transformation is guided by the 1. Glorious Quran| 2. Prophetic Traditions of our Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).

Team Islam stands for Peace and Co-existence, we will stand forth for awakening the real values for peaceful co-existence among all communities and religions in the island nation of Sri Lanka.
Team Islam is ZERO TOLERANCE to violence, terror and radicalism.We believe that practicing the faith of Islam is ultimately spreading the message of non-violence, love and tolerance that safeguards the Rights, dignity and security for the whole humanity on the face of the earth.
Our Islamic values and insights influence all features of our work helping to shape the Social order that we envisage to be determined and moderated by the Islamic perspectives.
