Quality Assurance Framework Based on Prophetic Traditions (Sunnah)

This framework draws inspiration from the Prophetic traditions of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), emphasizing ethical conduct, accountability, and excellence (Ihsan) in all endeavors. It aligns with Islamic principles to ensure quality, sustainability, and inclusiveness in projects and initiatives.

1. Objectives of the Framework

  • To uphold the principles of integrity, fairness, and excellence as exemplified by the Prophet (ﷺ).
  • To ensure that all actions and processes are guided by Islamic ethics and contribute to the welfare of humanity.
  • To establish a systematic approach to evaluating and improving organizational performance.

Core Principles Derived from Prophetic Traditions


    1.Ihsan (Excellence)

  • “Allah loves that when any one of you does a job, he does it with excellence.” (Sunan Al-Kubra 5035)
  • Emphasizes delivering the highest quality in work, ensuring attention to detail and thoroughness.

  • 2. Amanah (Trustworthiness)

  • “When a man gives a trust, he must deliver it to the one who entrusted it to him.” (Sunan Abu Dawood 3535)
  • Promotes accountability and transparency in responsibilities

  • “And consult with them in matters. Then, when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah.” (Qur’an 3:159)

  • “Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.” (Qur’an 5:8)
  • Ensures fairness and impartiality in processes and decision-making.

  • “The one who is not merciful to people will not be merciful to him by Allah.” (Sahih Bukhari 6013)
  • Advocates for compassion and empathy, especially towards marginalized groups.

  • Ethical Leadership: Leaders must embody Prophetic qualities such as humility, sincerity, and integrity

  • Prevention: Take proactive measures to avoid risks, reflecting the Prophet’s (ﷺ) guidance: “Tie your camel, and then rely upon Allah.” (Tirmidhi 2517)

  • Resilience: Foster patience and reliance on Allah in the face of adversity.

6. Feedback and Accountability Mechanisms


  • Grievance Redressal: Establish channels for stakeholders to voice concerns or complaints, inspired by the Prophet’s openness to feedback.
  • Transparency: Publicly share outcomes and decisions to build trust within the community


7. Continuous Spiritual Alignment


  • Begin each project with Bismillah and supplications, seeking Allah’s guidance and blessings.
